Reflection from Marshall McLuhan

 I'm becoming clear of McLuhan's idea of "the phenomenon of the world's culture shrinking and

expanding at the same time" because of the digital media. Digital media helps people learn a variety of

cultures from several multicultural elements of the medium. Taking an example of an advertisement of a 

hamburger. This hamburger has Indian curry sauce with and the background of this advertisement is 

covered with Indian decoration. This advertisement not only attracts people to try the new flavour of this 

hamburger, but also learn the Indian culture. Hamburger represents the US culture. However, what do 

Americans think when the advertisement of the hamburger applies the Indian culture?
